Advantages of Membership
Did you know that there are many benefits to membership in a fraternity or sorority? Find out why.
Recent research done by the Research Initiative of the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) and the North American Interfraternity Conference (NIC) indicates that members of fraternities and sororities:
- have a higher retention rate as college students
- tend to make larger gifts when donating to various causes
- are more likely to volunteer in their communities
- are more likely to be active in civic affairs
- are more likely to be civically responsible citizens during adulthood.
Employers cite the fact that they are more inclined to hire those who have been a member of a fraternity or sorority because of their leadership skills.
Delta Zeta Sorority takes an active part in serving the mission of institutions of higher learning in the university communities where we have chapters.
We foster relationships with school officials and administrators to discover how Delta Zeta and other Greek organizations can make a positive contribution to that mission.
Through membership in Delta Zeta, you are a proud representative of this partnership on your campus, and a viable member of the world community.
