National Officers
Delta Zeta is a volunteer based organization. Only the National Headquarters staff are salaried. Everyone else carries out the duties of her office without salary and receives only reimbursement for office expenses and travel.

The National Council of Delta Zeta are elected officers of the Sorority and function as its board of directors. All other chairmen and committees are appointed by the National Council. The National Council also hires an Executive Director who supervises the operation of the National Headquarters.
There are nearly 400 volunteers who are appointed to serve in positions that supervise the activities and business of chapters and alumnae and direct the programs of the Sorority. These women conduct their Delta Zeta business from their homes, making time for the Sorority amid their responsibilities to family and career. Their dedication and devotion are endless, and their energy and fervor for the Sorority are boundless.
